I presently provide the files needed via https://dj3ei.famsik.de/2026-10-FMT_files/ . The data files are lengthy, I might remove them some time in the future. I record raw samples as come in from IC-705's built-in sound card to hard drive, together with time stamps when those samples came in. The time stamps come from the computer's system clock disciplined by NTP (over WiFi, I was to lazy to rig up a LAN cable). The software that does the recording (on a Linux machine) is capture_from_ic705.cpp . In a later step, this data is retrieved via grab_with_python.py and analyzed at leisure using a Jupyter notebook. The tools used are a mixture of FFT, a lot of convolution, and a sprinkle of linear regression. I believe the files to run it again are in the directory, but it is my lab setup with not much documentation. I did an analysis of both my 40 m and 80 m recording. But I judged the 40 m recording to be more solid, so I only used the 40 m results. If I get around to doing so, I might post a summary in my blog; if so, probably at https://dj3ei.famsik.de/blog/posts/2026/FMTLab_1009/ - but no promise intended.

Audio from the Elad fed to the PC and oscilloscope. Pulse measurements on oscilloscope and frequency measurements on SpectrumLab. System checked using waveforms from generator also locked to RFzero reference.

Carrier: This time i used the GPSDO-modded SDRplay RSP1B with GNU Radio and some FFT magic again PPS: GPSDO-PPS together with IC-7300 audio on a scope - cursor measurement (using OLD calibration delay from 18.05.)
